Excellent basic tutorial

As a clinical instructor of internal medicine, I have been looking for a simple, helpful text for teaching ABG interpretation. I found this book to be the most straightforward and helpful. This is a very well-written and succinct tutorial for teaching blood gas analysis. It can easily be worked through in an evening and is surprisingly comprehensive. Learning how to interpret ABG's is often an intimidating undertaking for medical students. This book does tend to remove some of the mystique and mystery about this very useful lab test. I can easily imagine the reader concluding this book with the thought, 'Is that all there is to it?' The answer is YES it really is that easy!
