Once upon a time, there was a young girl and a young man, each had intelligence and spirit, kindness and wit... God sighed as He remembered. He liked these two. When He planned their futures, He thought they'd be together for the lion's share of their lives, having many children, shared work and a partnership that would be a measure others would aspire to. He'd given them everything they needed for a good head start, a magnificent middle and a wonderful end. He didn't worry. But He should have. They parted from each other, one moving west, one staying east and while this altered the course of their lives it didn't mean second chances were out of reach forever. Twenty five years have passed. God has not forgotten them and neither have the four angels who love them. With a good deal of love and humor, they work together to set things right for Darcy and Luke. And yes, this is the case even though they are past the fearsome learning curve of youth. Can each of them learn to see themselves as they really are and as the other is? And can they learn to tell the truth?
