Primal leadership is the emotional dimension of leadership.Primal task of a leader is an emotional one-to articulate a message that resonates with their followers' emotional reality and rhetoric, with their sense of purpose and so can move anybody or groups of people in a positive direction. Emotional intelligence also known as emotional quotient or EQ is the ability to understand, use, and manage one's own emotions in positive ways to relieve stress, to communicate effectively with peers, empathize with others, overcome challenges and defuse conflict. Emotional intelligence means to combine our thoughts and feelings to take the most effective action. Individual EQ measured using tools such as the scientifically validated Six Seconds Emotional Intelligence Assessment. Researchers found a positive correlation between psychopathy and emotional intelligence (EI), especially a positive correlation between psychopathy and the perception scale of EI. Also psychopaths showed a greater emotional regulation and perception than control participants. .
