A mysterious hallucinogenic compound known only as "Nightmare Fuel" has hit the streets, making bad trips come to life. The morgue is filling up with distorted and mutated bodies as hapless users are turned inside-out, devoured by subcutaneous insects, or otherwise destroyed by the drug.

There's only one group qualified to handle such a threat - Team Super Heroin, a top secret CIA taskforce whose operatives gain supernatural powers from street drugs. Baron Bad Trip is a gonzo psychedelic horror thriller by B.J. Swann, creator of the Aeon of Chaos series. If Hunter S. Thompson and William S. Burroughs had co-written a silver age comic book, it might have turned out something like this.
