A must read for all interested in NWGA history

Although it's all historical fact, it was written in such a captivating way that I could hardly put it down! I've lived near the old Barnsley estate for years now and had no idea how much history there was in the area. Im so glad I found this gem! It's a must read for everyone interested in antebellum Georgia.

A captivating history

Very interesting and informative book, written with passion by a Barnsley insider who was intimately involved in the restoration of the property. A tale as captivating as a gothic novel, but all true.
