Barneys Special Day

Barney didn't just have a special day -
he had a special job.

For a few days, Barney came to stay in a children's home, where some children were finding things a bit hard.
With his wagging tail, soft fur, and gentle ways, Barney helped the children feel calmer, braver, and less alone.

The children talked to him, played with him, and cuddled him when feelings felt too big.
Barney listened without words and stayed close when it mattered most.
