Barnaby isn't your typical worker bee. While the rest of the colony at Honey-Top Hive is content with their daily routine of collecting pollen from the same old daisies, Barnaby dreams of the legendary "Infinite Meadow"-a mythical land where flowers are as tall as trees and the nectar tastes like liquid sunshine.
When a giant "Crystal Wall" (a human-built greenhouse) suddenly appears, cutting off the colony's primary food source, the hive faces a cold, hungry winter. The Queen is worried, the soldiers are restless, and the drones are confused.
Barnaby, along with a hyperactive worker bee named Pip and a grumpy retired guard named Sergeant Stinger, decides to venture beyond the "Great Fence" to find the Infinite Meadow and save their home.
Their journey is a wild, hilarious, and sometimes scary adventure across the Backyard Wilderness, where they must outsmart hungry bullfrogs, dodge "The Great Metal Grass-Cutter," and face off against a rogue gang of wasps who want the Infinite Meadow for themselves.
