Great book for all ages

This is a great fable type story that keeps children's attention. I love how the chickens work together through what appears to be a hopeless situation. The birds take advantage of the foxes greed and outsmart them in the end. I was surprised to see the age guidelines for this book. I think it can be used for older children as well as the younger groups. There is great dialogue and the book is beautifully illustrated.
