Barbados is a country located in the Lesser Antilles, and with an area of 167 square miles, the island has a width of approximately 14 miles and a length of 21 miles. The island is located in the Caribbean Sea, near Guadeloupe, Martinique, Montserrat, Dominica and Grenada. The western section of this nation has numerous rolling hills and plains, and the highest elevation has an altitude of 1,120 feet.The surface of the eastern region has a gradual slope and multiple caves. Coastal erosion has formed cliffs and beaches.Barbados is surrounded by coral reefs that attract divers. It also has an interesting wildlife, with unique flora and fauna.
