About the Book Not for the faint of heart, 'BANSHEE' is a dark horror story that is fast paced and full of gruesome twists and turns. The book is set to the backdrop of a serial child killer case in which the murderer has never been caught. To survive, each of the characters must uncover and face a terrifying mystery which stalks a small town, hidden away in Northeast England. Backstory As a deadly virus raged through a small industrial town in the Northeast of England, Detective Daniel Gray had failed the biggest case of his career, a child killer case no less. By letting five innocent children die at the hands of a paedophilic monster, he had become responsible for the most horrendous atrocity the Tees Valley had ever known. Present day and his shredded reputation is the least of his worries as he tries to pick up the pieces of his professional career. Just weeks after the 'Pig Tail' murders and Daniel is faced with another killer. A killer who is removing internal organs from his victims and leaving no physical evidence, not even blood. Tasked with finding the murderer alongside his new inexperienced partner from London, the young detectives must discover the horrific link between the murders and the true nature of the Necrovirus before it is too late. Pretty soon the two become entangled in a decaying world whilst the British government do whatever it takes to contain the virus within the Tees Valley area. However, as the Necrovirus starts to have unusual effects on their unsuspecting human host, the military are forced to take more extreme measures before the viruses' true potential is realised.
