At the Southern tip of Ireland, the inhabitants of coastal village Baltimore are slow to rise from the dreamy euphoria of a long day of festivities. The inhabitants are suddenly wakened by the screams and splintered crashes of battle as Moorish raiders mercilessly plunder and destroy. The young and able are taken and most of those remaining are brutishly slaughtered.
