My Mom's side of the family put this cookbook together & it is worth every penny!

I am the eldest great-grandson of Jonas & Lydia. My mother was the daughter of Jonas & Lydia's son Joseph, may they all rest in peace! I received this book from my mom. She had bought herself, me and my sisters all copies. The recipes are easy to follow and there is more than enough for everyone to eat their fill. Technically, anyone can follow the recipes and no matter what you choose, it will be delicious! I did not grow up Amish but I was fortunate to have been able to spend a lot of time with my grandparents on both sides and they both used many of the recipes you will find inside here. You can get close, but you will never outdo an Amish grandmother in the kitchen! I recommend you try my sister Carolyn's Deep Dish Pizza. She puts everything but the kitchen sink in it & you'll love it!
