Sharon is the Director of Education of the Albuquerque Campus of Wayland Baptist University with the responsibility of overseeing the department and guiding the preparation of the next generation of educators. She obtained her PhD in Family Studies from the University of New Mexico. Sharon has a passion for teaching, whether at the university level, with women at her church, with women at conferences and conventions, or with children and youth. She has a personal commitment to Bake the Cake and continue her journey toward fulfillment and meaning as ordained by God. Sharon is a native of Albuquerque, New Mexico. She and her husband have three adult children and five amazing grandchildren. Her husband is a pastor of a local church. Sharon has been involved in ministry for women and children for many years and continues in those areas of ministry as the wife of a pastor.
