Poetry is the highest form of art. Munshi Naubat Rai Nazar was a prominent poet of Lucknow in the 19th century. He was a master of poetry and prose. He translated poems by Western poets like Tennyson into Urdu and also translated some English novels into Urdu. His poetry reaches back to Mushafi. He also earned a lot of fame in the world of Urdu journalism. This book consists some of his selected Nazms.
