Baeda, monachus eruditissimus, non solum res politicas sed etiam vitas sanctorum et miracula scrupulose refert, stilum perspicuum et veritatem historicam sequens. Haec editio textum originalem Latinum iuxta versionem Anglicam a J. E. King factam praebet, faciliorem reddens aditum ad thesaurum hunc culturalem. Per hoc opus, lector cognoscit quomodo fides et unitas ecclesiastica ad formationem gentis contulerint. "Baedae Opera Historica" perstat ut columna historica et theologica, necessaria omnibus qui fundamenta Europae medievalis et identitatis Britannicae perscrutari cupiunt.
