Bad Luck Genie: An Urban Fantasy Folly

By A.E. McKenna

Lucy's luck isn't just bad, it's a curse.
Lucy's whole life has been plagued with misfortune, but she never guessed it was because she wasn't human until the unthinkable happens. Now thrust into a world of magic, djinni, and scary fae, she has to rely upon complete strangers for help.
While caught in the throes of magical sarcasm, Lucy sets Malware Tanaka's life on fire, ruins his mission, and accidentally links them together.
Now there's an unbreakable bond locking them hip-to-hip, and their only hope of getting free from one another is a flimsy rumor regarding the nefarious Rasputin's bones-fiendish relics that can grant impossible wishes.
But they aren't the only ones looking for the artifacts. A dark djinni intent on gaining unlimited power is two steps ahead of them, and he will find them no matter the cost.
Should they find the relics first, would wishing on bones steeped in wicked history change Lucy for the worse?
