This is a collection of short essays in which the most difficult of all theological issues for believers is addressed- the goodness of God. Is God in fact good? Ministers, priests and rabbis face an impossible task when they attempt to address this vital issue, since scripture and creation provide so much data to the contrary. There are solutions however, and this collection will present one of them, culminating in a "Theory of Everything," which will attempt to explain the universe in terms of the perfectly good Source and Father of all. This document is Christian, but in terms of orthodox Christianity (I warn you), heretical. It is also lacking, as are all such efforts if considered honestly, since the fullness of God is in the end unsearchable. Nonetheless it is different, and presents a perspective I have developed over the course of a life-long search. There are four great lies, four false pillars of faith, four great doctrines of deception in Christianity: first, that the Creator is the true, ineffable Father and Source of all; second, that the Creator is good; third, that all scripture is Father-breathed; and fourth, that man determines his own fate. To subscribe to these tenets of faith is to sentence oneself to hopeless confusion and to unwittingly blaspheme the Holy Spirit. All of the doctrine birthed from these ideas comes from the intellect side of the spirit/soul boundary, the domain of pure reason from which spiritual truth can never be unearthed. From the spirit side comes the revelation of the instinctive, ineluctable truth of a Father who is perfect good, perfect love, perfect light; a Father from Whom our spirits proceed; a Father from Whom separation is impossible; a Father to Whom we all return; a Father Who rescues and restores ALL to Himself by Himself alone. Should you wish to continue, consider this pertinent caution from the Gospel of Thomas: Jesus said, "Let the one who seeks continue seeking until they find what they are looking for. When they find it, they will become troubled. When they become troubled, they will be amazed, and they will rule over all."
