Unique and Fun Read

Bad Girl Bridesmaids by Susanna Carr is three books in one. Each novella is a unique and fun read. It's one of those books that you start reading and before you know it, you're halfway through. Since it's that time of year, it would make a great vacation read. Serial Bridesmaid On The Loose is the story of Kelsey Morgan, who lives the old adage, "Always a bridesmaid. Never a bride." She's the last single member of her sorority, and the one who always seems to get stuck with all the work. Her friend, Hannah, promises her that she "won't have to lift a finger" at her wedding, so she agrees to be a bridesmaid once again. Wealthy millionaire, Zack Cooper, attends the wedding posing as a gigolo to an older, wealthy woman in order to hide his real identity. There's an instant attraction between Zack and Kelsey. Believing that he really is a gigolo, she offers to pay for his services. The story heats up from there as Zack decides to go along with the charade and give her her money's worth. The second story is a lesson in being careful what you write on your internet blog. Tara Watkins is the manager of her family's vineyard and a wedding planner who anonymously pens the blog, The Bridesmaid's Diaries. She posts about having a fling with the "best man" once at a wedding and wishes she hadn't let him get away. Luke Sullivan is the "best man" who got away. He reads Tara's blog, and everything about it sounds very familiar to him. As fate and luck would have it, Tara ends up planning a wedding for Luke's best friend. Sparks ignite again and Luke soon realizes that Tara is the "Bridesmaid Blogger", and he's the "Best Man". Carr saved the best for last with "Wedding Wrecker". When the minister asks if anyone objects to the wedding, have you ever wondered what would happened if someone did? Amber Hughes did just that at a friend's wedding after catching the groom "in the act" with one of the bridesmaids. Rather than thinking she did a good deed, everyone in her hometown now shuns her. But that doesn't stop her best friend, Madison, from asking her to be a bridesmaid again. Josh Griffin, the best man, is a man who has a bad reputation with women and a secret lust for Amber. Bad Girl Bridesmaids by Susanna Carr contains three sizzling stories of bridesmaids who are finally going to have the fun they deserve. "Serial Bridesmaid on the Loose" - Kelsey Morgan's story Kelsey is tired of being treated like a workhorse for all the weddings she has been in for her sorority sisters. Typically, the rest of the bridesmaids are having a good time and she's off dealing with one problem or another. Zack has a jaded view of relationships and is especially turned off by gold diggers. He's taking his godmother to her friend's wedding, and he expects to be mobbed by the bridesmaids because he's wealthy. But when his godmother implies he's her paid escort, Kelsey wonders if she could hire him as a way to get out of being the gopher for this wedding. If she has a "date" maybe they'll leave her alone so she can enjoy herself for a change. Part of Zack is bothered that she thinks he's a gigolo up for grabs, but a bigger part of him is interested in what Kelsey has to offer. He wonders if she would have approached him if she weren't propositioning him. When Zack overhears some of the other bridesmaids talking trash about Kelsey, it solidifies his desire to help her have a good time and show those sorority wenches that she's the life of the party. But what will happen when she learns the truth about who he really is? Kelsey and Zack are great together; they're intelligent and likeable, and they have great chemistry. The only flaw I can see is Kelsey wanting to be a part of a sorority filled with snooty bitches in the first place, but that's just me. "The Bridesmaid's Diaries" - Tara Watkins's story Two years ago Tara had the worst day of her life, then topped it off by sleeping with the best man in a wedding she wasn't even supposed to be in. He said he wanted to see her again, but she said no because she felt what she did was unprofessional and inexcusable. Later, she posts her feelings on an online blog, thinking she's safe to share her most intimate thoughts because it's anonymous. Now the same couple is back to renew their vows, and Luke is the best man again. He's looking forward to seeing Tara. This time he isn't taking no for an answer. Tara and Zack are wonderful together. They have chemistry that sizzles, and Zack is a patient and determined hero who's positively edible. Tara is to be commended for dealing with a bride from hell not just once, but twice. That takes strength of character I'm not sure I'd have in the same situation. "Wedding Wrecker" - Amber Hughes's story Amber makes the mistake of replying to a Christmas card from an old friend who's twenty something and single, and ends up a bridesmaid in an ill-fitting tangerine-colored dress. She has been a wedding pariah in the community for years, after speaking up (during the ceremony) and telling the bride - her former best friend - that the groom was shagging a bridesmaid minutes before the ceremony. She is tired of her so called friends taking advantage of her good nature. Kelsey spies Zack and she thinks he fits the bill as her paid escort for the wedding. Zack Cooper goes to a wedding with his elderly Godmother. Shirley lets it be know that Zack is her "escort." When Zack meets Kelsey he plays along to help her avoid her extra bridesmaid duties but they both find themselves falling in love. Tara Watkins is an event planner in The Bridesmaid Diaries. Two years ago she had to fill in for the maid of honor and ended up having a one night stand with the best man. Since then she has blogged about life and especially that one night. Now the couple is renewing their vows putting Luke Sullivan back in her life. But Luke wants more then a one night repeat performance this time and is holding nothing back. Wedding Wrecker introduces us to Amber Hughes. A few years ago she tried to stop a wedding and was gossiped about so badly she left town. Now she is back for a friends wedding and the town gossips are having a field day. Groomsman Josh Griffin has his sights set on keeping Amber out of trouble and hopefully into his bed. Bad Girl Bridesmaids has three wickedly funny and very spicy, sexy stories. Each story is a delight and is a great read.

Zack escorts his godmother Shirley to the wedding only to learn she set him up to look like a gigolo. Kelsey offers him his fee to be her escort. As Zack and Kelsey share incredible sex and begin to fall in love, she learns the truth about who he is. "The Bridesmaid's Diaries". Tara Watkins, events planner at her family owned winery, is asked to fill in at a wedding ceremony when a bridesmaid got ill. Though upset that her fiancé dumped her she agrees, but later after a few drinks she sleeps with the best man Luke Sullivan. Tara feeling ashamed refuses to see Luke but wrote about it in her blog. Now two years later, at a wedding vow renewal Luke is elated as he has loved Tara at first sight. He believes she loves him too as he has read her blog. However he knows trust is the key to her heart. "Wedding Wrecker". Several years ago Amber Hughes opened her mouth at a wedding of a friend to prevent a travesty. The couple married, but later divorced. Everyone blamed Amber, who left town. Now she is back as a bridesmaid though she prefers it to be otherwise. The bride Madison asks Amber to crash the bachelor party to see if her fiancé Carl is cheating. Amber reluctantly agrees, but Josh Griffin intercedes. Each tale is fun to read as each lead bridesmaid battle a bridezilla and their retinue, but at these weddings they have a male hunk ally.
