Welcome to the 13th century BC: a time when men were men, gods were gods, and women were--Amazons Enter Eris, ex-goddess of Strife, and baddest of all the warrior women. Eris had everything going for her: divine parentage, a doting Scythian boyfriend, and an adorable baby barbarian boy. But, when the famous Athenian 'hero', Theseus, invades Amazonia, decimating their armies and abducting their Queen, Eris' fate takes a drastic turn for the worse. Crawling out of Hades, she embarks on an epic adventure that will take her across the ancient world on a tragicomic quest to find her son, avenge herself on her enemies, and, along the way, to expose the seedy misogynistic undercurrent running through all of Greek mythology. Eris never intended to become the poster chld for the marginalized mythological minorities, but Fate had other plans for her. Aided by her alcoholic centaur, kinky Spartan girlfriend and deviant satyr, Eris is slated to play a major role in the original battle of the sexes, flying in the face of over 3,000 years of mythos--and destroying a whole lot of childhoods alnog the way.
