Two couples are having dinner in a Chinese restaurant. The fun conversation of these good friends turns to the subject of children. One couple has children, the other couple, Mike and Allison, are at odds over the issue. While Allison is ready to start a family, mike is unsure. In fact, he is taking an informal survey of everyone he meets asking, "why did you have kids?" Allison is embarrassed by his approach, and frustrated by his seeming inability to make a decision. When Mike seeks rational answers from Maureen and Terry, he is unsatisfied because their decision to have kids seemed like the next thing to do after buying a house. The sketch ends in a playful manner, but it is clear Mike is no closer to a decision, much to his wife's dismay.Topics: DECISION MAKINGCharacters: 2 MALES, 2 FEMALESParticipants: 4Author: Mark Demel
