Other players work behind the scenes and contribute to the redemptive arc within a story in which some are convicted of murder and others of carrying out major drug deals, homosexuality is forced upon unsuspecting prison neophytes, and men become transgendered against their will and are made to comply with multiple acts of depravity. All of these misfortunes and more are brought into play until all parties reach a well-rounded, happy-ever-after end.
