Cute, but not as good as Baby Cakes!

My daughter and I checked out this book from the library. She loves Baby Cakes, so we were hoping for another hit. This book has the same adorable illustrations as Baby Cakes, but the prose just doesn't have the same natural rhythm and beat. It's still very cute, but we just didn't connect to it as much as Baby Cakes.
