Avery makes friends. Needs a synopsis. Poorly written. Not a children's classic

Research book before buying. 'AVERY MAKES FRIENDS ' desperately needs a description. I didn't feel this was written by a professional children's author nor published by a professional childrens book publisher. It felt like a self published book. The topic is about a little boy , starting school for the first time.. not making friends/being teased because he doesn't speak well and is hearing challenged. Over summer holiday he gets hearing aids, practices speaking and then returns to school the following year..and magically makes friends and everyone loves him. If I had a child that was getting hearing aids..this Might be appropriate, but I feel it has a 'fear based' message. The adult should read first and see it it fits your situation and you can make it a positive message. (I don't feel it is worth $13.00).
My personal worry about gifting this book to my grandson 'Avery' (I gave it to his mother to decide) was making attending school a terrifyingly experience. I think with a 'professional ' child's author, the challenges
with diversity could make a wonderful children's story. There was something, just not right..I feel it gives an incomplete message, possibly doing more harm than good. (Especially after 2020 covid isolation, attending a school building for kindergarten or first grade for the first time..l didn't want to give this child more reasons to be scared. I also believe kids these days are more open to diversity..and a whole class would not treat a child with a disability this poorly)
