Note: This book is a continuation of Autodesk(R) Inventor(R) 2027: Introduction to Solid Modeling Part 1. Both books are required to learn all fundamental-level Inventor skills.
The print version of this guide is printed in black and white with images in grayscale.
The Autodesk(R) Inventor(R) 2027: Introduction to Solid Modeling Part 1 and Part 2 guides provide new Autodesk Inventor users with an understanding of the parametric design philosophy through a hands-on, practice-intensive curriculum. In the Part 2 guide, you will continue on from the part modeling experience you gained in the Part 1 guide to learn assembly design techniques and how to create production drawings of your models.
It is highly recommended that you complete the Part 1 guide (sold separately) prior to using Part 2.Topics Covered in Part 2
Placing and constraining/connecting parts in assembliesManipulating the display of components in an assemblyObtaining model measurements and property informationCreating presentation files (exploded views)Modifying and analyzing the components in an assemblySimulating motion in an assemblyCreating parts and features in assemblies Creating and editing an assembly bill of materialsWorking with projectsCreating and annotating drawings and views Customizing the Autodesk Inventor environmentPrerequisites
