I was born in the Netherlands.Soon after arriving in Australia as a migrant, I saw my first goanna climbing a tree and realised that this country looked nothing like it had been visually portrayed to prospective migrants at the time.Having a keen interest in photography at an early age, I had a vision that one day I would travel this vast new land and show Australia as it really was.The photographs in this book are part of that vision.
