A quasi-experimental study was carried out where the control was the patient himself, in the CMF number 15 of the Policl?nico Yaguajay with the purpose of evaluating the results of a combined treatment scheme of auriculotherapy with caldo santo seeds and conventional treatment in 45 patients without control of their arterial hypertension between 16 and 60 years old.Variables such as the clinical evolution according to the time of treatment and the degree of hypertension were evaluated and the response to treatment was assessed, and the individual clinical histories were reviewed to obtain the information. The results showed that the combined treatment managed to reduce arterial hypertension in 93.3% of the patients, who mostly reached control after the third cycle of treatment.
