Working with the interference of digital media in audiovisual media brings with it various ways of communicating through new technologies and media convergence, in addition to interfering in narrative and strategic processes adopted in the audiovisual field. This study aims to investigate two terms that are still quite confusing in the field of communication, but which are increasingly present in audiovisual productions: cross-media and transmedia. Starting from this point, we take into account media convergence and the freedom that the Internet provides to analyze which of these processes best fits the Porta dos Fundos program, as it is currently configured. A program that was initially created for entertainment purposes now occupies a significant space in the market, in addition to contributing to the Brazilian audiovisual industry. This has been made possible thanks to the strategies adopted for content production and distribution through contemporary media, which are increasingly accommodating these new formats.
