This Lady Kicks Butt!

As a martial arts instructor who taught Self Defense for Women for over 20 years I can safely say that this is the simplest and most practical guide to physical self defense for women I have ever come across. It's full of no-nonsense techniques that WORK, as the experiences of many of my students can attest. It is a little low on conflict resolution (to say the least) but if your conflict ever has to be resolved with a good knee to the groin or fingers in the eyes then this is the book for you! It's an awful pity it's out of print. I recommend you also purchase Gavin De Becker's The Gift of Fear to complement it - this book explains how to sense danger and defuse or avoid it .before it gets out of hand
