We are living in the age of science and technology. The advent of science and technology has made human lives so easy with its innumerable innovations and discoveries. Internet is one of such most beneficial boon of science and technology to the human being. With the advancement of internet all the activities of human being have become easier, less time consuming, effective and perfect. It has become an indispensable part of human life. But it is not only a boon for any particular group of people; rather it has tremendously benefited the whole mankind starting from the children, adult, youth to old. However, besides the benefits in other fields of human life, internet has brought and eye-catching improvement in the process and product of education. Although internet has benefited to all level of students, students at undergraduate level are seemed to be benefited by internet the most.
The present era is known as the age of science and technology. Man comes in contact with technology in each and every moment of his life starting from simple household cooking work to operate a missile. A man cannot survive on this earth without technology. Technology has touched each and every aspects of human life. In almost all the activities of human being is characterized by technology. Further the advent of internet in the field of technology has made human activities very easy. By the use of internet a man can do thousands of tasks in a single moment. As education is considered as an indispensible part of human life, so the whole system of education has also been greatly influenced by technology as well as internet. In ancient days when technology in education was not introduced the teachers or the Gurus used to transmit knowledge only through spoken words. But now a days a number of techniques like computer, television, projector, mobile phones etc. have been developed in order to make education interesting, effective and purposeful.
