Nicola has just begun work at the atmospheric museum Atticus House, which is unlike any other place she has worked in. Still, it has potential, and as an entrepreneur with ambition this is exactly what she wants. Yet she couldn't call it potential when she meets her new colleague, the impressive but distant museum director Nord. It was more like immediate attraction, although she had seen at a glance that he wasn't the least bit similar to herself. She begins to sketch out some plans, both business and personal, and soon sees that Nord has ideas of his own. Happily, her friend Nigel is on hand to discuss it all, and she continues to develop her plans. But Nicola doesn't seem to be the only one interested in the potential of Atticus House; and she certainly isn't the only one interested in Nord.
