ATP 3-06 Urban Operations

ATP 3-06 provides commanders and staffs specific information they will need to plan and conduct urban operations. Second, the manual provides multiple templates and examples of products that are routinely used in the conduct of operations. Readers of this publication use ADRP 6-0 for discussions concerning roles and responsibilities soldiers use to facilitate ease of communication among various members of different organizations.

The principal audience for ATP 3-06 includes Army commanders, leaders, unit staffs, and Soldiers. Commanders and staffs of Army Corps headquarters serving as joint task force or multinational headquarters should also refer to applicable joint or multinational doctrine concerning the conduct of joint urban operations. Trainers and educators throughout the Army will also use this manual.
