Undercover MI6 agent Lorraine Broughton (Charlize Theron) is sent to Berlin just before the wall comes down. She is tasked with investigating the murder of a fellow agent, retrieving a list, and uncovering a double agent.
In the process, we get a graphic one-on-one with two women, car chases, and other shoot-em-ups.

Charlize Theron has a habit of portraying animated characters and comic characters. This vase is based on the graphic novel by Anthony Johnson and Sam Hart. The people who read the books will, of course, be disappointed. The people who watch the movie wonder why it is so superficial; to bend the character to match the written character, they don’t take enough time to realize that in this movie, they should not be trying to re-create the written character.
The soundtrack may be worth it more than the movie. Usually, soundtracks get in the way of good acting. In this case, the soundtrack is the actor. It is fun to remember where you heard the soundtrack before. Some of the music includes:
Cat People (putting out the fire) by David Bowie (opening scene)
Major Tom (Völlig Losgelöst) by Peter Schilling (not immediately recognizable)
99 Luftballons by Nena (best version)
