Excellent intorduction to the world of Tropical Medicine

This is a wonderful book with enough text to jog your memory, and loads of fascinating pictures to help you to identify most pathologies. A good buy.

So that's what a Bot fly looks like!

This is my favorite book on tropical medicine. Half is well-written text and the other half is absorbing photos and informative illustrations. Each chapter gives a thorough description of the epidemiology and pathophysiology of a specific illness. The author also does an exceptional job describing important vectors and reservoirs. Contrary to previous posts, the price is extremely reasonable if you compare it to almost any other medical atlas.
