This atlas was first published by Life Science Publishers in Japanese. As part of a collaboration with Churchill Communications Japan, Dr. Willerson and Dr. Cohn are updating and editing an English translation. The book is an excellent visual reference into all aspects of ischemic heart disease, including gross anatomy of arteriosclerosis, coronary angiography and pathology. Coronary infarction is illustrated with EEGs, nuclear imaging, Doppler flow imaging and MRI. The strength of this book is the excellent pathological correlations, with many cases illustrating the many types of infarction, as well as related conditions such as aortic dissection. Also included are interventional procedures, including PTCS and bypass grafting.Over 800 illustrations, with 600 spectacular color photos throughout Covers all of ischemic heart disease Case studies approach is user-friendly Covers pathophysiology better than any current atlas
