The Wolfe & The Angel

I loved this book I thought the characters of Wolfe and Angel complimented each other and the play of the names was so spot on Wolfe (aka Count Carlo Gambrelli) and Angelica (Angel) rubbed lustful sparks off each other from the word "go", but although Wolfe was a handsome tycoon Angel did not fall into his arms like a ripe peach, she wasn't a push over, if anything she was weary of him because his lifestyle reflected that of her father Steven who she was just getting to know after years of estrangement and who was also a good friend to Wolfe. Unbeknownst to Angel her father purposely introduces her to Wolfe because he (her father) is gravely ill and wishes for Wolfe to help protect Angel's financial interest should he (Steven) die. Of course from their first meeting there is a definite attraction between the two and both fight it, Wolfe because he refuses to give into it because of the friendship he shares with Steven and Angel because she doesn't trust him to not be like her dad, although she has come to love her dad. All and all the story takes a few twist and turns to keep you interested from beginning to end, its also the second book of the trilogy "The Sicilians" the previous book is called "The Sicilians Ruthless Marriage Revenge" it's the story of Cesare Gambrelli Wolfe's cousin and his love interest Robin. This book is a good continuation and link to the other and of course the characters of Cesare and Robin revisit
