Best devotional I've found

This is the second year I've used this 365 day devotional, and I intend to use it again next year because I cannot find one that I like any better. Too many of the devotionals for women are what I consider too "light". I want to be challenged and convicted in my morning devotional. I want to continue to chew on the thoughts I read all day long, and that is exactly what this book does. It does not pat me on the back and tell me to hang in there - it gets into my face and into my heart and speaks truth to my soul. AMEN! You cannot go wrong with this book.

This is a great book to start your day. It takes just a few minutes to read "the page for the day" but it stimulates both thought and conversation. the second portion of each days reading provides opportunities to place faith into action. The comments and quotes provided on each page from critical thinkers just adds icing on the cake.

I just bought this book a month ago and within a few days I found myself thinking how much I needed to spend more time reading the new testament and the words of Jesus. This book has the Bible reading for the day, a short lesson, then questions that you can apply to yourself. Plus a quote that applies to the daily bible reading. Highly recommend this book! A book that causes you to want to have an intimate relationship with Jesus our Lord.
