"The wait is over. Astrology Uncut is heah to provide salvation to the confused, wayward, and game-deprived. Now let us bow our heads and read. . . ." With Astrology Uncut, the language of the stars... This description may be from another edition of this product.
This book is soooo funny!! This book will keep you engaged. Not only is it entertaining, but it is quite accurate. I've read several astrology books and looked up a lot of astrology info online, however, I learned a few new things in this book that I hadn't personally seen before. This book mentions how each zodiac sign can closely be related to the different stages in life. - starting with the first sign Aries, the infant sign, and ending with Pisces, the elderly sign. Each sign represents an age - Taurus the stubborn toddler, Cancer the emotional preteen, Leo the teenager, Libra the adult at the marrying and settling down stage, Capricorn the 50s age when one is anxious about money and security, and etc. So true so true!!! I also learned more about the axes and that some people might argue that there are really only 6 signs rather than 12, and that each axis sign has similarities but differences within those similarities - for example Cancer/Capricorn axis. Cancers are moody and sensitive and wear it on their sleeve. Capricorns are also moody and sensitive but you might not know it because they keep everything inside. Other axes signs are Aries/Libra, Taurus/Scorpio Gemini/Sagittarius, Leo/Aquarius, and Virgo/Pisces. This book is really funny and talks about which signs are more or less Gangsta (Sagittarius is most gangsta of all), Bootylicious, Pimpin, Street Smart, etc. They give plenty of examples by using celebrities. And the language they use is hilarious! You will be entertained! And you will want to share this with your friends!!
WHEN THE STARS AND THE HOOD COLLIDE...

I've always been into astrology. Personally, I've always like reading about other signs and seeing if they actually tell some truth about the people around me. With this book, it was so on point. Right when I bought it, I was incredibly amazed at the categories they had (booty quotient, gangstability, drama quotient, etc.), especially since some of what they wrote was true about some people I know. Whether it be the truth or not, this book is quite amuzing. On top of that, each section provides info like what your favorite type of car may be, what your favorite type of beverage is, who you are most compatible with, and most importantly...the celebrities who you share the sign with. I was especially satisfied with mine, since I'm a Sagittarius ("Keepin' It Gangsta") and share a birthday with Richard Pryor and Lou Rawls (RIP). Whatever your sign is, this book will either open your mind or make you fall over laughing.

Astrology Uncut is for either a person who has studied astrology and understands it or a person who just, for some reason, believes in it. Although this book quickly educates you about astrology and the different elements and genders of astrology, the book is not destined to give you thorough and complete education on the subject. It is here to inspire, entertain and confirm the astrological theories by relating them to real life people and situations. It is written for the hip hop generation or anyone who wants down-to-earth illustrations. Although the book covers mostly Black celebrities/figures, it also covers other races or ethnic groups. The famous and prominent people discussed range from Suge Knight to J-Lo to Tony Mantana. The authors definitely have street sense and are very knowledgeable and intuitive about astrology. A very entertaining and astrologically accurate book for the contemporary astrologer! And very funny and blunt, indeed.
