Existing tools dedicated to the assessment of motor praxis in adults are rare and are not always suited to the conditions of neuropsychological assessment (duration, complexity, equipment, etc.). The synthesis of older theoretical data and its update by Le Gall, Etcharry-Bouyx & Osiurak in 2012 now allows us to propose a new battery of tests for gestural praxis. This battery, supported by the latest research in the field, has been tested on patients at the memory clinic of the Franche-Comt Memory Resource and Research Center. This new tool appears to be more accurate in analyzing voluntary movement disorders and can detect and classify apraxia (kinesthetic, melokinetic, unilateral or bilateral). It can be easily integrated into neuropsychological assessments and is fun for patients to use.
