Wonderful Cook Book

Having eaten at Assaggio's numerous times it was a joy to get this book with some of my favorite recipes from my favorite place to eat in the United States. Mauro Golmarvi has created some of the most incredible meals I have evre had and having lived in Italy I can say (my opinion of course), that Mauro provides the most incredible italian meals outside of Italy. the recipes in the book are easy to follow and easy to recreate Assagio's incredible meals at home. Living in Alaska I just can't eat there as often as I'd like!!

This cookbook is worth every penny. The recipes are easy, fresh, and when it says it feeds 6, it feeds 12. I impressed my family, friends, and myself.

The secrets of the perfect Italian Restaurateur!

This is a beautiful little cookbook, from Mauro the owner of one of the best Italian resturants I have ever had the pleasure of dining at. I was lucky enough to find a signing during the release of the book so I got to have Mauro personal it. The recipes inside are fantastic! It will take a while to try cooking them all, but I will get around to it. So try the resturant, then buy the book. You will not be disappointed with either.

Finally, REAL Italian

I adore Mauro, and this book really shows him off. I can't believe he's revealing his secrets and making it easy for those of us who aren't professional chefs! There's a great recipe for marinara sauce in this cookbook, and Mauro's little aphorisms are hilarious.
