Aspen Leaves, The Colors is the sixth in the Canticles series. It is the second volume in the series about the aspen leaves among other things. The aspens have long been a fascination to me. Living here on the Grey Wolf Resort and Ranch has allowed me the chance to walk almost everyday among them. They are a creation with a beauty unknown by any other. What else is a colony that could be older then mankind? In their own way they have been teaching me about the seasons here. By reading their colors one can tell the seasons and when the coming of the next one will happen. But the unique thing is that sometimes they will choose colors that they did not last year when the Autumn season comes. Gold is the most often found color. But reds and oranges also abound.
