Grandparents are precious. They teach children about life because they have enjoyed many days gazing at sunrises and starlit skies. She tells the children about her favorite colors and her favorite flowers and the children ask her about her hats and her gardening gloves. Nana Lu is always with us because she continues to live in the hearts of her children and their children. When we miss people who are no longer with us, we simply close our eyes and remember their smile, remember their wisdom, as we continue to pass on their special words. Nana Lu loved her family very much. She especially loved the children.
