As a Psychologist and Life Coach my challenge has been to accept my own model of living/practice. Believing that "we are all powerful beyond measure" I have stumbled with my own doubts and all ways looked for ways to prove what I believed. May Anne Thomas reminded me of the Truth, that we are all Spirit in physical form and the reality is that all we need to do is ask and we Shall receive. It is as simple as that, which is often too simple for analytical minds. One of the most powerful aspects of the message that Mary Anne has highlighted for the reader is the importance to own your own stuff - take responsibility for what is happening in your own life and take charge. As I read the messages I thought of a book by Joe Vitale titled Spiritual Marketing: A Proven 5-step Formula for Easily Creating Wealth from the Inside Out.Mary Anne has provided the reader not with a book of words or even ideas, she has given a gift of herself, a gift of love to all who are open to the message.

Ask and You Shall Receive is a very interesting little book. Mary Anne Thomas shows the reader how to change from within with her exercises. It is a prayer book-a new way to pray by working out what it is that you are really looking for. She speaks of forgiving the past, accepting it in an almost subtle, subconscious way. She teaches how to find happiness and the good things that are already around all of us with her Good New Board. Her Dictionary Game to find the core of my prayers was very useful. She also tells her story, which I also identified with. She teaches how to receive-that giving and receiving go together. I, too, like her, could give but didn't know how to receive. It is a spiritual book, but it is written in a different way. Make no mistake--this isn't a genie in a bottle approach to getting what you want. It teaches you how to work on what it is that you want, and does so by making you find out more about yourself, your inner feelings, and how to pray for what it is that you are looking for and why. And it does it in a very subtle way. I found it a great book to work with. It helped me find out what it is that I really am looking for.

Mary Anne Thomas has a unique perspective on prayer that makes it real and very possible. I have prayed a lot in my life, in many different ways, but I have never felt so sure that my prayers are being answered, that there is a specific method to it that works, until I read Mary Anne's book. It feels like I have a direct link to God that will never go away.

I have found the "Ask" well written in a way that is easy to understand and to follow. Message from the book is easy to understand and apply as well. I have enjoyed reading it , and I 've also tried Mary Ann's recommendations and achieved great results in my life. I feel better, happier , more confident. It teaches you how to manifest, but most of all to believe in power of your dreams cause they can lead you toward the life you want.Thanks Mary Ann for sharing with all of us.
