After a failed suicide attempt, a mother struggling to reintegrate with her family inherits her father's crematorium where charred souls are trapped in a cycle of agony and vengeance, she must break in order to save her family.

Young mother, Teagan stands before the remnants of her old life knowing full well things will never be the same again. Her husband Erik remains supportive yet distant, and her teenage son Spencer can barely even look at her. She might have lived that night, but she really didn't plan to, and she doesn't know if she is happy about that yet.

She struggles desperately to pick up where she left off, and reconnect with her family. However, there is an unspoken wedge between all of them. Why did she want to leave them? Teagan isn't quite ready to face that question though, and no one is ready to ask her either. Nevertheless, when a slimy lawyer knocks at the door one day to present Teagan with the keys to the family business that she inherited upon her father's death, everything changes.

The business? A crematorium and funeral home. Thinking this is a fresh start, Teagan moves her family in and entrenches herself in the project. Unfortunately, all is not well, as the charred spirits of those that have moved through the facility are not at peace. They target others trying to cause any fraction of the pain that they have had to endure.

The curse then turns its attention to Spencer. On top of tackling the barrage of restless spirits, Teagan must confront what really happened in her past, to understand the part she truly plays at the facility. Along the way, she'll also have to reconcile with her husband and son. A family is stronger together after all. Teagan and Erik end up joining forces with the priest next door, Joshua, to save Spencer and stop this cycle of abuse and torture once and for all. It all ends where it begins. Ashes to ashes, and dust to dust.
