Ashes in the Fallout

When nuclear missiles are launched, initiating World War 3, 18-year-old volunteer paramedic James Campbell will have to use all of his skills and courage to survive in the aftermath. James is with his father Tom and younger siblings Emily and Dylan near their home outside Baltimore when the first bombs detonate. Knowing fallout will soon descend, they race home to gather supplies and seek shelter.

Tom recalls an old bunker built on their property and they descend underground, hoping it will protect them. But they discover the bunker has been compromised. With radiation levels rising, food and water quickly dwindling, and tensions escalating in the cramped space, James must take charge. He comes up with a daring plan to decontaminate outside and find more provisions before it's too late.

Setting traps under cover of darkness, James tracks radioactive animals, determined to purify whatever meat or plants they yield. But the outside world has grown even more dangerous in the nuclear winter. And as desperation and infighting threaten to tear his family apart, James will learn just how far he is willing to go to ensure their survival. With his leadership and medical training pushing him forward, can James get them through this trial and lead them back into an uncertain future?
