In the Bible, God teaches His people they are called to do great things. In this life, the world and the trials of it can have you feeling down, discouraged, unable and useless. God has created and saved you by His Son Jesus Christ to be an inspiration and light to this world. We often look at our faults and mistakes which cause us to feel defeated. God doesn't want our focus to be on our failures, He wants our focus to be on Him: our highest calling. When we pay attention to God, His precepts, promises and will, the only direction we will be heading is upward to Him. It is my attempt as a servant of the Lord and an ordained pastor to encourage the Church and anyone else seeking the True God and themselves, to bring awareness the incredible journey God wants us on. When you seek the Lord with all your heart the only direction is up, your life no longer is stuck, stagnant, routine or down. This book is composed of lessons from the Lord Jesus how to move upward in all areas of your life and other biblical characters that are relatable to us, how to give our attention to our upward calling.
