As The Rain Falls follows the story of Snap, a young man living in Seattle, Washington suffering from a drug addiction. The book follows him as he and his girlfriend Chard decide to get clean, each chapter marking a day in their lives and the trials they face on this endeavor. As Snap and Chard suffer through the difficulties of mankind, a celestial drama takes place among the stars as Mother Nature, The Sun, and The Moon begin to fall in love with one another, thus creating a love triangle with astronomical potential consequences.
Set in to the backdrop of rainy Seattle streets and long drives through Douglas Fir forests, As The Rain Falls deals with the complexities of love, addiction, poverty, and the strive to be better.
