Set in to the backdrop of rainy Seattle streets and long drives through Douglas Fir forests, As The Rain Falls deals with the complexities of love, addiction, poverty, and the strive to be better. Inspired from events from his own life, Plauche's semi-autobiographical novel promises the reader a look into the darker parts of life and offers a guide of how to still find joy in its wake.
