It's about a little girl who had to raise her baby brother on her own, she had help from her neighbors but other than that she became like a mother to him. She had to hustle in order to feed the two of them because their Mom abandoned them and their father was sent to prison. She and the neighbor's daughter became best friends and they go through a lot things together. Some events that take place will make you laugh. Some will have you about to cry but the main focus and moral of the story is about love and sacrifice. She talks about her experiences and what its like to grow up in a bad environment and the emotional scars that it leaves on you as a child. "AS COLD AS ISIS" is about survival , family, and a young child refusing to fold.
