a lovely little book

This charming little book conveys to the youngest reader the simple message that conducting is NOT a matter of just shaking a baton but rather of bringing one's personal interpretation of the music to the audience. My 2 1/2 year-old really likes it for its gentle humor but the message is probably better suited to a slightly older audience.
