Artificial intelligence (AI) is gradually emerging as one of the technologies capable of profoundly transforming the way public organizations operate. Its development opens up opportunities, in particular, in the areas of task automation, data analysis, user assistance, and decision support. In public administrations, these applications can help improve the speed of case processing, the quality of services, and the traceability of operations.In the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), however, this evolution is taking place in an environment marked by structural constraints. The digital transformation of public services continues to face challenges such as inadequate infrastructure, connectivity issues, an unstable energy supply, a shortage of specialized skills, and challenges related to data management and security.This study examines, through a qualitative approach and a literature review, the opportunities offered by artificial intelligence in the process of modernizing Congolese public services.
