The curious cat, Arthur, faces new challenges while aboard the Solar Phoenix alongside his owner, Savannah Radleigh, and the rest of the human crew. They were awakened from stasis to investigate a distress signal from a desolate planet. Upon arrival, they discover an abandoned spaceship and signs of a disastrous event. During their return trip, they unknowingly bring back a stowaway alien creature whom Arthur names Kerwin. Despite being shy and fearful, Kerwin and Arthur develop a close friendship. However, Arthur must find a way to protect Kerwin from the unfriendly humans. This book cleverly satirizes the classic 1979 film, Alien and appeals to cat and alien enthusiasts.
